Hundreds of people gathered at the Renaissance Rooms in Vauxhall for the Day-Glo Midnight Roller Disco in aid of Tom's Ward at the Oxford Children's Hospital and Place2Be, which provides counselling for young people. It may not have been the usual crowd trotting under a railway bridge in deepest, darkest SW8, but it was certainly was an irresistible combination of Eighties roller fantasy and charitable euphoria. Hats and Bells literally saved the day for us when our son Thomas had his 6th Birthday Party. We had moved to a new area a few weeks beforehand and Hats and Bells came in and saved the party for me. They were unbelievably accommodating considering I wasn't sure on the numbers for Tom, they made everything look like a fairy tale from the beginning to end. Food you only ever dream of and taste of was there. Nothing for Hats and Bells was too much trouble, from Vegetable Boats to Choccy Aliens - they could do it.
